YOUR FAMILY SPECIALIST
Mrs. Anna Blake
Welcome to a brand new school year! Mrs. Blake is honored to serve as a Family Specialist. The mission of the North East ISD Family Engagement program is to create and sustain partnerships with students, families, and the community to ensure high levels of learning for all. Mrs Blake grew up in Laos, the Philippines, Iran, Mauritania and Gambia. She and her husband Matt are both committed to offering the highest standards of education to children. She started as an elementary Spanish teacher in Charleston, SC. She and her husband continued their careers in Puerto Rico, El Salvador and Honduras, Tennessee, and Texas. She and her family moved to San Antonio in 2016. She feels immensely proud to serve the community of Harmony Hills.

Family Specialists
Family Specialists are available to all NEISD families. They assist in various ways, such as:
provide families with information from the district, community agencies, city and state institutions, and any other organizations that might benefit those with specific needs;
- facilitate and conduct parent-education classes, counseling and mentoring;
- assist students and families to reach their maximum educational benefits;
- provide support to those who are in an emotional or financial crisis.
Family Engagement Courses
Family Engagement Course are free to all parents, grandparents, or community members. Participants are offered information on a wide variety of subjects
