Principal
Ms. Carol Elliott
I am honored to serve as the principal of Harmony Hills and to continue my lifelong commitment to public education. I bring over 30 years of experience in education, including 24 years proudly serving North East ISD. My journey began as an elementary classroom teacher in Southern California, where I developed a deep belief in the power of strong relationships, high expectations, and student centered learning.
In 2003, my family and I relocated to San Antonio, where I began my work with NEISD as a school counselor at Ronald Reagan High School. I later had the privilege of opening Johnson High School as the S.T.A.N. counselor, supporting students and families during a foundational time in the school’s history. These experiences strengthened my commitment to whole child development and the importance of meeting students where they are.
My administrative journey includes serving as an Assistant Principal at Tejeda Middle School for two years and Lopez Middle School for seven years. These roles provided invaluable opportunities to work alongside dedicated educators, support campus growth, and focus on instructional excellence and student achievement.
As principal of Harmony Hills, I firmly believe that all students can learn and succeed. My leadership philosophy aligns closely with Angela Duckworth’s concept of grit the belief that passion, perseverance, and resilience over time are critical to success. I strive to foster a campus culture where students are encouraged to work through challenges, embrace mistakes as learning opportunities, and develop the confidence to persist even when learning feels difficult.
Together with our staff, families, and community, I am committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and high expectations environment where every child is supported, challenged, and inspired to reach their full potential.

Hello Harmony Hills Teachers, Staff and Families,
With over 20 years in education, I have had the joy of serving students in many roles as a classroom teacher, instructional coach, and literacy specialist. I have taught Pre-K, 3rd, 4th, ALE, and worked in two school districts before joining NEISD in 2019. Each step in my journey has deepened my belief that all students can grow and succeed when we create strong relationships, high expectations, and supportive learning environments. As an assistant principal, I am passionate about partnering with families and staff to ensure every child feels seen, supported, and challenged. I believe that when we collaborate with care and consistency, schools become places where students grow both academically and emotionally.
